Last week, I asked you and all other attendees help in crafting the next Summit and response has been terrific!
For this I’m again grateful. Grateful to you and to everyone who took two minutes to spare a dime with me.
Now, I would like to celebrate you and what the weekend in Florence meant to all of us by sharing the above 30 second video, that my friend and videographer Max put together for us.
The Upcoming Recordings
As you’ll remember, I told you on stage that the recordings will be ready soon.
Max is now working on giving me all the videos from the event, which I will upload into the digital platform you have access to since you bought your VRWS ticket.
So keep an eye on a mail from me hopefully soon, with a notification on when you can access all material.
A Further Surprise from my buddy Adrian
Adrian sent me a few reflections on the event as he was recapping the takeaways on his way home. He wrote them for you, so I’m happy to share them below.
VRWS Recap from Adrian Brown
On my flight home, the messages from VRWS 2017 became very apparent to me.
– Create a strong BRAND
– Tell STORIES to connect with your guest’s emotions
– Use VIDEO
– You can’t beat the OTA’s so use them EFFECTIVELY.
– Use the available TECHNOLOGY to free up your time to focus on the above.
So the NECESSARY work is to find ways to address those challenges. Let me just take a moment to help you understand what I mean.
As Alan so brilliantly demonstrated instead of promoting what people need, the 10 sqm loft apartment, promote what people WANT, a fabulous vacation in Canada.
Your guests want to experience the activities and pastime that your town, city or region provides. They need somewhere to sleep! Be clear about what your guests WANT and what your guests NEED.
Next, you need to be clear about your WHY and from that create three clear messages to convey to your guest. This is how you tell people about your brand.
Then comes story telling. Alan told beautiful stories through his videos that “sold” the experience. Remember the “loons”?
What he did was connect the story he was telling to the story in the guests head.
So what is your story and how does it relate to your guest’s story?
Your brand has to be strong; it has to stand out from the crowd. You need to be instantly recognisable as the go-to property in your niche! It has to connect with them EMOTIONALLY as Richard so clearly explained
And finally, you need to make sure that it is as easy as possible for your guests to find you and connect with you! You need to automate your business so that you can create that one to one relationship.
Vanessa, Martin and Piotr and Iwona from Hello Here demonstrated that brilliantly.
So how well are you doing today? What are the first steps you are going to take?
Remember the two questions I asked you?
Am I good enough to do this?
What’s needed to get this done?
I have created a free download to help you discover just that, and it will help you start your journey to growing the business of your dreams.
